John is currently the Mission Commander of SpaceHelpWanted.com, a Web 2.0 business that aims to list every job in the space industry worldwide. SpaceHelpWanted.com was launched in July 2010 following six months of development with an international team lead by John.


John has extensive international leadership experience managing teams in the United States, Europe, China, India and Latin America. His U.S. Passport is more than 60 pages thick with visa stamps! In his most previous role at Microsoft, John

  • Developed and managed seven support service departments with a staff of 150.
  • Consolidated global teams and set ITIL-based quality standards to reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, lower turnover and return working time to business users.
  • Implemented technology upgrade and training programs, business improvement programs and career development plans which improved service quality, employee morale, and the respect of workers for each other.
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills developed through robust use of pro-active service level management.
  • Supported 700 line of business applications used by sales, marketing and services executives in nearly 80 countries worldwide
  • Earned 2008 Excellence in Engineering award from Microsoft IT
  •  Earned Spring 2008  Thinkweek recognition from Bill Gates for his research paper: “Managing Thousands of already deployed Line of Business Applications.”
